Women and Power. Days of political leadership. Connecting struggles and territories

Landed in the 21st century, the century of feminization, If you do a quick search on the Internet of "political leadership" you'll see rows and rows of middle-aged men (or masculinised icons) in a suit with a tie game. Women account for a tiny 3% in the political spectrum and, however, the only way to ensure a sustainable and peaceful democracy is with the leadership and participation of them.

From 7 to 15 November in Madrid, Merida, Seville, Valencia, Barcelona and Valladolid will have 14 women in political environments as leaders. Them, first hand know how the violence against women in politics It has become a tactic to prevent or limit the participation of women.

From Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, United States, Guatemala, Haiti and Colombia, supported by women in the exercise of active policy in Madrid and social activists for women's rights, we demand public space for women, quietly, until now, to male power, and the importance of increasing that 3%.
